Dear colleagues,

the FABIAN head-related transfer function data base is now publicly available from:
http://dx.doi.org/10.14279/depositonce-5718

The data base includes head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) for the FABIAN head and torso simulator. HRTFs were acoustically measured and numerically simulated for 11 head-above-torso orientations, and a high resolution full-spherical sampling grid that allows for a high order spherical harmonics representation. Spherical harmonics based interpolation to arbitrary source positions and head-above-torso orientations can be done using AKtools (www.ak.tu-berlin.de/AKtools). For use in virtual auditory display, the data base is accompanied with diffuse field compensation filters, and numerous headphone compensation filters.
