Hello,

a few years ago I created a compilation of available info that I found for
openAL specificationss and extensions in a github repository:

https://github.com/Raulshc/OpenAL-EXT-Repository

Anyone can find the pdfs for both specifications there:

https://github.com/Raulshc/OpenAL-EXT-Repository/tree/master/Specification

You can consider that as the relatively obscure place :)
Regards
